1. What does playing Decimate Metalfest mean to you as a band

?

1. Playing Decimate MetalFest is our proof of hard work and dedication over the past year. We set out to make this festival and after we were announced it was validating in the sense that we are making good music. Thanks again to the Decimate Team for inviting us on

2. What part of your sound or performance do you think the Millet crowd will enjoy

most?

2. We believe the Millet crowd will enjoy our vocal harmonies the most. A lot of our songs are brought together by Dayn and Jordan creating harmonies that push the atmospheric intros and choruses in our songs.

3. How do you get ready for a festival show compared to a regular venue show?

3. This is our first festival...but just like every other show we’ll most likely do some pushups, a short run, and a shot for the pre show nerves.

4. What do you like about performing in smaller Alberta towns like Millet?

4. The best part about playing small towns like Millet is bringing your live sound to new ears. Especially the kids who may have not experienced a metal show before. There is always a chance to influence a young kid to express themselves in a way they never thought they could. Also we practice in Hay Lakes just down the road from Millet, and all the people are very accepting and excited to have some action around their town!

5. Do you have any memorable or funny festival stories from past shows?

5. This will be the first festival for us as a band, so we are definitely ready to make some memories! You can expect us to be active on our social pages all weekend at Decimate Metalfest!

6. What can fans expect from your set this year, anything new or different?

6. From our set this year you can expect a high energy performance with 3 new songs that are our heaviest yet! There will be much more of a back end as well with our new drummer Jonas who has brought the drums to life the past year since joining us.

7. Which other bands at Decimate are you excited to see or play alongside, and why?

7. The Convalescence has been on the daily playlist since they were announced. Absolutely brutal music to end the first night of Decimate. The production quality of their content is really good and we look forward to the craziness on stage!
