How did you all meet each other?

We all met on Kijiji actually lol. I had recently moved to Edmonton and didn't really know anyone in the scene. So I put out an ad looking for someone to jam and write stuff with. I met our guitar player Ben and we wrote a handful of songs for a completely different project that we started, but we decided we wanted to start a screamo band. So we figured we'd try Kijiji again in search of a vocalist/bass player, and we found Jack.  -Jeremy

Who writes the lyrics, and what usually inspires them?

We tend to write each of our own vocal parts most of the time, but Jack writes the majority of the lyrics. Most of the lyrics come from personal feelings and emotions, usually through themes of loss and self doubt. Haha just emo shit y'know?

What is your favorite song to play live and why?

Jack- san vanelona, It's heavy and I enjoy the lyrics, it's very emotional and that's super fun to convey in a live setting. 

                                                

Ben- how to slow down time, I feel it’s one of our most dynamic songs. It’s fun that we all get in on the vocals and it has some of my favourite riffs to play.Jeremy- ...beneath blood stained skies, This song has a powerful message behind it and expressing that through the heavy drum parts and screaming along with Jack is a lot of fun.

What is the biggest mistake you’ve made as a band so far?

Not having a serious release out yet.

If you could tour anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would you go?

Touring the states would be really cool because there is such a thriving emo scene down there right now, but also going somewhere like Japan would be wild.

What’s next for this band after this show?

Our debut EP will be coming out this summer (we promise) as well as a split with a band called Wounded Deer from California. We are planning on making physicals for both of those as well! Following that up we have a west coast tour in July with our friends in the band A Recorded Dawn.
