PUNKSGIVING INTERVIEW - LOSER POINTS
PUNKSGIVING INTERVIEW - LOSER POINTS

1. What does it mean to you to be part of Punksgiving this year?
Punksgiving is THE premier Canadian-Thanksgiving-themed punk festival in the world, and it is not only an absolute honour to be part of the festival's rich heritage, but will be a feather in our cap that we will carry forever.
2. How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard
your music before?
Bad. Dated. Overdone.
3. What can fans expect from your set at Punksgiving that they won't
get anywhere else?
Us explaining to the audience, on stage, that it is actually really difficult to find a turkey mask, which was pretty surprising given the prevalence of chicken masks and costumes, so it seems there is some prejudice against turkeys in the larger costume-making ecosystem that needs to be addressed, and addressed with gravitas.
4. How has the Alberta punk scene influenced your music and your
journey as an artist?
Many bands think the Alberta punk scene is their ally. But they merely adopted the Alberta punk scene; we were born into it, moulded by it. We didn't see other scenes until we were already men, by then it was nothing to us but blinding!
5. What message or feeling do you hope people take away after watching
your performance?
That we're fun guys, that we obviously love the music of punk rock.
6. Are there any songs in your set that hold special meaning for you, and why?
All of our songs are like my children, and as such, at various times with each of them I've stepped out to get some milk or a pack of cigarettes. All my songs are wondering where I am. None of them know who their real composer is.
