REVIEW - WODOS FROM THE GRAVE

Editor Review!
I LOVE thrash metal and geniunly believe Canda has some of the worlds best artists of the genre. This week I was introduced to the impressive album from Wodos, From the Grave. The Lévis, Quebec thrash metal band clearly wears its old-school influences on its sleeve, delivering fast riffs, aggressive vocals, and a raw production style that feels like a genuine tribute to 1980s thrash metal. The album was reportedly recorded entirely on analog equipment and is designed to capture an authentic hardcrore, old-school sound.
Tracks like Head Dead, Sacrifice, and the title track showcase the band's energy and no-frills approach, while the short runtime keeps the momentum moving from start to finish.
From the Grave may not reinvent thrash metal, but that's not the point. Wodos delivers exactly what fans of classic underground metal are looking for: speed, intensity, and a clear passion for the genre. Im not the best at reviewing albums etc but I know what I like and I LOVE this. For a debut album, it's a strong statement from one of Quebec's promising new thrash acts. Its new, its hot and its Canadian… CHEK IT OUT!
