How would you classify your music?
We’re a mixture of early emo/ pop punk from the 2000’s, 2000s garage rock, and 2010-recent indie rock/indie pop. These are the genres that we pull most of our inspiration from.
s there any inspiration for the band?
We have multiple musical inspirations. Bands such as Green Day, Backseat Lovers, Paramore, The Strokes and Blink 182 are some that come to mind!!
Each and every band we’ve played alongside has also inspired us further as a group. The bands that we have played with have taught us how unique and fascinating the music scene can be, and we hope to continue to learn and incorporate that into our own originality.
What are you goals for 2023?
To connect with other musicians, to discover what we’re capable of accomplishing in this short time that we’ve been together, and to grow our vision on who we want to be as a group is all we can ask for. As we love seeing familiar faces in the crowd, we get super pumped every time we see new ones. Having that continued support is a huge motivation, it gives us encouragement to keep bringing vibrant and fun shows that everyone can be a part of.
What would be your dream collaboration?
We have two bands that come to mind, Paramore and The Backseat Lovers. Both groups have played into the foundation of our band. Paramore is a band that we frequently cover. We always carefully select our favourite Paramore songs to play at almost every one of our shows. The energy that Paramore brings to the stage is something that we can only hope to achieve. The Backseat Lovers is another band who we would love to collaborate with. They are one of the first bands that we all found a common interest in, we really feel as though they helped bring us together and created a strong bond between us. Both of these bands have played a huge role in how we’ve developed as a band, it would be absolutely surreal to collaborate with them
Anything else you want the viewers to know?
If you love electric and high energy bands come out and see us! Don’t be afraid to come talk to us after the shows as well, we love saying hi and getting to know everyone! It’s our dream to be able to perform and to continue what we’ve been lucky enough to do. We’ve made some great friends who were once in our crowd, we’d love to connect with the people who make our dream possible.
